MMA Over / under Predictions
Every fight we rate on the over / under market, with the probability and the best price. The round total is written as over or under a half round. Over 2.5 wins if the fight passes two minutes thirty of round three in a five minute round; under 2.5 wins if it ends before that point. A decision always settles as over.

Percentages are our win probability for each side and always total 100, because MMA cannot end level. The tip is our one call on each bout, and it names its own market. 1 is the first fighter, 2 the second, matching the percentages. A tip with no label is a straight win. Method 1 (KO) is the first fighter to win inside the distance, and Over / under U 1.5 is the bout passing that many rounds. Green means the call won, red means it lost, amber means it has not settled yet. Losing calls stay on the page, which is what the accuracy record is built from. The last column shows the start time until a bout begins, then the live score, then the final score.
How MMA Over / under Settles
What counts, and what does not
- The line. The round total is written as over or under a half round. Over 2.5 wins if the fight passes two minutes thirty of round three in a five minute round; under 2.5 wins if it ends before that point. A decision always settles as over.
- Overtime. A fight has no overtime. A draw or a no contest refunds the stake on the winner market at most bookmakers. Method and round markets settle on the official result as announced.
- Both sides count. A decision always settles as over the line.
Settlement rules vary slightly between bookmakers. Where practice differs we say "most bookmakers"; check the rules of the one you use before placing anything.
About Our MMA Over / under Predictions
What the market is, how we rate it, where it tends to land and how to use the page
MMA over / under predictions rate the combined rounds of a fight against the bookmaker line, and ignore who wins. Round totals in MMA are set at 1.5 or 2.5 for three round fights and 2.5 or 3.5 for five round main events. The over wins if the fight passes the halfway point of the named round; the under wins if it ends before that point. We rate the total on every fight we cover and list the ones where our expected figure sits far enough from the line, from the card on the mixed martial arts predictions hub.
How the Total Settles
The round total is written as over or under a half round. Over 2.5 wins if the fight passes two minutes thirty of round three in a five minute round; under 2.5 wins if it ends before that point. A decision always settles as over.
What Drives a MMA Total
The styles are the whole story. Two strikers with knockout power produce an under; a wrestler who controls from top position against a striker produces an over; two grapplers produce a decision and an over. Our rating uses each fighter's finish rate and the rate at which each has been finished, both weighted toward recent fights. The method is on how we make predictions.
Reading This Page
The round total in MMA is a bet on the styles. Two strikers with power produce an under; a wrestler who controls from top produces an over; two grapplers produce a decision, which always settles as over. The rating uses each fighter's finish rate and the rate at which each has been finished. Most rows here come from the UFC; other promotions are rated when the API carries their fights and their odds.
The Other Two Markets
The straight win page rates the winner and the method page rates the margin. A total and a method are often related, because a one sided fight tends to carry a different total from a close one, and reading the two pages together on the same fixture is worth the minute it takes.
How to Use This Page
The chips above the table switch market. The country and competition selects narrow the table to one competition without leaving the page. The day pills move to tomorrow or the week ahead, and the date picker goes to any day. Every row links to the full fixture page, where the analysis explains the number. When a pick settles it stays on the site with its result, and the market's strike rate on the accuracy page is calculated from that archive, losses included. The MMA predictions hub carries the same fixtures across every market.
