How the Risk Trimmer Works

Step by step

  1. Paste the booking code. Any code from any supported bookmaker.
  2. Pick the bookmaker it came from. Country fronts are listed separately.
  3. Press trim. Each leg is scored. Shaky 1X2 picks become double chance, over 3.5 steps to over 2.5, correct score legs are removed, and the weakest leg is dropped if it is pulling the slip down.
  4. Read the result and take the new code. Original odds and win probability beside the trimmed ones, every change explained, then the new code at the bookmaker you choose.

What Does the Trimmer Change?

What it changes, what it leaves alone and why the slip lands more often

A risk trimmer takes a booking code and rewrites the legs most likely to lose it. Most shared slips fail on one or two legs, not on all of them: a win pick in a derby that should have been double chance, an over 3.5 that should have been over 2.5, a correct score thrown in for the odds. The trimmer scores every leg against our probabilities, applies four transforms where they help, and returns a new code with the win probability shown before and after.

The Four Trims

Soften: a 1X2 win pick below the confidence threshold becomes double chance on the same side, so the draw no longer loses the leg. Step down: an over goals line that looks aggressive for the fixture steps one tier down. Remove: correct score legs are removed outright, because no softer market exists and their hit rate drags the whole slip. Drop: the leg with the lowest probability and no useful softer market is dropped when dropping it raises the slip's probability more than keeping it. Legs that already sit above the threshold are kept exactly as they are.

What You Get Back

The original slip's combined odds and win probability beside the trimmed slip's, a leg by leg breakdown marked kept, softened, stepped, removed or dropped with one line on why, and a new booking code at the bookmaker you choose. The original code stays visible so you can go back to it. The odds come down, because that is what removing risk means; the probability goes up, which is the point. The accumulator tips pages show the same trade across the four tiers.

About the Risk Trimmer

A risk trimmer saves a slip from itself. Paste a code, pick its bookmaker, press trim: every leg is scored, the risky ones are softened or removed, and you get a new code with a higher win probability at the bookmaker you choose.

  • Four trims: soften a win to double chance, step an over line down, remove correct score, drop the weakest leg.
  • Every change explained leg by leg, with the probability before and after.
  • Original code kept so you can go back to it.
  • New code at any bookmaker, not only the one the slip came from.
