Privacy Policy
You can read every prediction on this site without an account, without giving us anything, and we never ask for payment details because there is nothing to buy. This page sets out what we do collect, why, how long we keep it and how to have it removed.
- No account required to read any prediction.
- No payment details, ever. There is no checkout on this site.
- We do not sell your data. Not to bookmakers, not to anyone.
- Delete it whenever you like, from your account settings.
Last updated 23 November 2026. Previous version 11 Oct 2024. This policy covers accuratepredict.com and is operated by African Sporting Technology Ltd. It is written to meet the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, and the UK and EU GDPR for visitors in those regions.
AccuratePredict is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use and safeguard your personal information when you use the site. By using AccuratePredict you agree to the terms set out here.
Two things worth knowing before the detail. You do not need an account to read any prediction on this site, so you can use most of it without giving us anything at all. And we never collect payment card or bank details, because there is nothing to buy here.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Personal Information
Registration data. When you create an account we collect your name or display name, your email address, your username, and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password as readable text.
Contact information. If you contact us for support or with an enquiry we collect your name, email address, and whatever you choose to put in the message.
Prediction history. If you take part in the leaderboard or vote and win, we keep a record of the calls you made and how they settled, because the leaderboard cannot work without it.
1.2 Non-Personal Information
Usage data. We collect information about how the site is used, including IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, referring site and time spent. This is not used to identify you personally.
Cookies and tracking technologies. We use cookies and similar technologies to remember your preferences, such as your odds format and time zone, to keep you signed in, and to measure how the site is used. Section 5.3 covers how to control them.
1.3 What We Never Collect
Payment card numbers, bank details, or financial information of any kind. There is no checkout, subscription or paid tier anywhere on AccuratePredict, so we have no reason to ask and we never will. If a page presenting itself as AccuratePredict asks you to pay for predictions, it is not us, and telling us through the contact page would be genuinely useful.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes, each with the legal basis we rely on.
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties, and we do not share it with bookmakers. We may share it in the following circumstances.
3.1 Service providers. We use a small number of providers who process data on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:
- Hosting and infrastructure. The servers this site runs on.
- Analytics. Measuring how the site is used, in aggregate.
- Email delivery. Sending the messages you have asked for, and replies to your enquiries.
- Sports data. Our fixtures, results and odds provider. Data flows one way: they supply match data to us, and we send them nothing about you.
3.2 Legal requirements. Where the law requires it, or in response to a valid legal process such as a subpoena or court order. We would resist a request that appeared improper.
3.3 Protection of rights. To enforce our terms and conditions, or to protect the rights, privacy, safety or property of AccuratePredict, our users, or the public.
3.4 Where your data is held. This site is hosted in Nigeria, so the servers holding your account details are subject to Nigerian law and the Nigeria Data Protection Act rather than sitting overseas by default.
Some of our other providers do process data outside Nigeria: analytics and email delivery typically do, and our sports data provider is based in Europe. Where personal data is transferred internationally we rely on the safeguards recognised under the Nigeria Data Protection Act and, for EU and UK data, on standard contractual clauses or an adequacy decision.
If you want to know which specific companies process data on our behalf, ask through the contact page and we will tell you.
4. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure or destruction. Passwords are hashed rather than stored. Traffic is encrypted in transit. Access to personal data is limited to people who need it for their work.
No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach affected your personal data we would tell you and the relevant authority promptly, rather than hope it went unnoticed.
5. Your Rights and Choices
Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act, and under GDPR where it applies to you, you have the following rights.
5.1 Access and update. You can see and update your personal information by logging into your account. You can also ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you.
5.2 Opt out. You can stop receiving promotional emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any of them, or from your account settings. Opting out of marketing does not affect service messages about your own account.
5.3 Cookies. You can control cookies through the consent banner or your browser settings. Refusing non-essential cookies does not stop the site working; only a few conveniences, such as remembering your odds format, depend on them.
5.4 Deletion, restriction, objection and portability. You can delete your account and its prediction history at any time from your account settings, without asking us. You can also ask us to restrict or stop processing, or to provide your data in a portable form. Use the contact page, and we respond within 30 days.
5.5 Complaints. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, or to your own supervisory authority in the EU or UK.
6. Data Retention
We keep personal data only as long as we need it.
- Account data for as long as your account exists, then deleted.
- Prediction history for as long as your account exists, because the leaderboard depends on it.
- Contact messages for up to two years, so we can follow up a correction.
- Analytics in identifiable form for up to 14 months, aggregated after that.
- Security logs for up to 12 months.
7. Third-Party Links
This site links to third-party websites, including bookmakers, our partner sites and the sources we cite. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and a link is not an endorsement. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any external site you visit, particularly a bookmaker, where the data you hand over is considerably more sensitive than anything we hold.
8. Children's Privacy
AccuratePredict is not intended for anyone under the age of 18 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such information we will delete it. If you believe a child has given us personal data, tell us through the contact page.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any change is posted on this page with an updated date at the top, and your continued use of the site after a change means accepting the revised version. Material changes will be flagged on the site rather than made quietly.
10. Contact Us
Questions or concerns about this policy, or a request about your own data, go through the contact page. You can also reach us at accuratepredictz@gmail.com.
