Percentages are our win probability for each side and always total 100, because volleyball cannot end level. The tip is our one call on each fixture, and it names its own market. 1 is the home side, 2 the away side, matching the percentages. A tip with no label is a straight win. Handicap 1 (-2.5) is the home side after that set handicap is applied, and Over / under O 189.5 is the match passing that many points. How Volleyball Handicap Settles
What counts, and what does not
- The line. The handicap is in sets, usually 1.5 or 2.5. A favourite at -1.5 sets must win 3-0 or 3-1; the underdog at +1.5 wins the bet by winning the match or losing 3-2. Some bookmakers offer a points handicap across the whole match instead; the row names which it is.
- Overtime. There is no overtime and no draw. A match is best of five sets, and a set is won by the first side to 25 points with a two point lead, 15 in the fifth.
- Pushes refund. Where a whole number line lands exactly, the stake is returned.
Settlement rules vary slightly between bookmakers. Where practice differs we say "most bookmakers"; check the rules of the one you use before placing anything.
